Introduction to Gestalt Coaching

Gestalt loosely translates as "meaningful whole," which describes how humans perceive and organize their experience. As a methodology, Gestalt is a holistic approach to human development that has powerful application in coaching.
Come taste Gestalt methodology and explore the Gestalt approach to coaching. This two-day workshop introduces key Gestalt concepts through experiential learning and dialogue. Awareness, contact styles, Cycle of Experience, Unit of Work, paradoxical theory of change: become familiar with these Gestalt concepts and discover how a Gestalt stance can improve your coaching technique.
Whether you are a practicing coach new to Gestalt, or new to both Gestalt and coaching, this workshop will prepare you for other coach training opportunities at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.
