A Brief Introduction to Gestalt Practice

This workshop is an introduction to hearing, seeing, and responding like a Gestalt practitioner. Through a series of exercises, participants will experience becoming fully present in the here and now and experience the difference in the impact they have using Gestalt principles. If you are new to the Gestalt practice, this workshop is for you!
Upon completion of this workshop participants will be able to:
• Describe the difference between presence as an objective expert and the embodied presence of a gestalt practitioner
•Identify the difference between working in the present (here and now) and in talking about the past (there and then)
•Describe the difference in the impact on one another when using a gestalt approach to interaction
Continuing Education: 3.5 hours of instruction
