Look! Up in the sky! It's ZENITH! Satellite Gallery's new show will launch on Friday June 3, from 6PM to 9PM! Captain Loren Naji, co-pilot Grace Wen, and a new crew artstronauts will bring all new installation explorations to the curious art gazers of Collinwood! Come see the work of Eric Adamo, Claudia Berlinski, Ross Bochnek, Hunter Just, Bryan Langsdale, Erin Lung, Michaelle Marschall, Cynthia Petry, Lisa Tagliaferri, and Jess Leela Willow. Linda Zolten Wood will be out on the decks, painting her rain barrels.
Zenith coincides with Walk All Over Waterloo, the monthly first Friday art walk! Make it an art night and dock your vehicle in one of the many free parking ports on Waterloo Road, and visit other galleries and studios, music venues, restaurants, and bars in the Waterloo Arts District!

To the Orchard

Playwrights Local 4181 presents the world premiere of Les Hunter’s “To the Orchard.” In this contemporary drama, college student Rachel Bergman reveals her sexual identity to her Orthodox Jewish father, who also is struggling with his own hidden past. In coming to terms with each other, the pair must reconcile the conflicting pulls of tradition and desire. Directed by Dale Heinen, “To the Orchard” is currently a finalist for the Jewish Plays Project’s 2016 national contest. The play runs May 27-June 5 at Waterloo Arts and June 10-12 at Dobama Theatre.
