Details!
We are wrestling with time and memory inside Satellite Gallery. How we comprehend time, which parts of it make up the present self-where does the past live after we’ve moved on without it? What space does it inhabit? Can we ever escape it and should we?
Our memories are built by segments of time. These segments open us up to innumerable damage or glorification based upon self survival or self destruction. In many ways our minds and bodies are as haunted as our cities, houses, and inanimate objects. Pieces of our past trickle into every pore of our present.

These five artists are dealing with the what, where, when, why, and how of what haunts or permeates the constant passage, reality, and remembrance of time.
