Inquiry-Based Learning at Oliver H. Perry

Oliver H. Perry  is so excited about our shift towards inquiry-based learning. Our fourth and fifth grade classes participate in weekly mini-courses with our community partners, Center for Arts-Inspired Learning and GigaLearn. Students had the option of photography, screenprinting or Gamebot for a ten week mini-course during the school day. In addition to mini-courses, students in all grades are creating questions about what makes them curious and teachers are utilizing those questions to guide instruction. We are looking forward to our move into a new building in January. In our new building, we have a project lab on the third floor and collaborative learning spaces on each floor to take our inquires to the next level. Enroll your child today!
