Development Manager

Collinwood and Nottingham Villages Development Corporation (CNVDC) serves the South Collinwood area within Ward 11. CNVDC is looking for a personable self motivated individual to manage its real estate development activities. Individual must be able to assess available properties for their ability to be redeveloped according to agency’s standards and also their impact on the surrounding neighborhood. Position requires the ability to evaluate whether or not a property should be acquired and what approximate redevelopment costs should be. Candidate must also be able to work out details with contractors when/if issues arise. Position also requires a knowledge of the building and housing department as well as municipal housing court for potential and/or existing violations on properties. The usual computer skills are a must , as well as the ability to multi task and work without constant supervision. Position also includes screening potential tenants for commercial and residential properties as well as managing leases for houses and/or apartments and oversee general maintenance as necessary.
