Teen Read Week

Collage It!

Saturday, October 22nd at the Memoral-Nottingham Library, 17109 Lakeshore Blvd., Cleveland OH 44110

Time: 2:00PM

A collage will be created from newspaper and newsletter articles, that highlight the activities of our local Collinwood area teens, and other teens, going to school in this area, that are making a difference. Anyone with positive articles published about local teens who are involved in academics, sports, music, volunteering, community service, or any other activity can bring their articles to the Memorial-Nottingham Library.

Local artist, Lawrence Baker, will talk about art as a career, and assist with the creating of the collage, which will be displayed at the Memorial-Nottingham Library, to reflect this year's "Teen Read Week" theme: "Picture It!" LIght refreshments will also be served.

For further information, please contact, Alfonzo Daniels, Library Assistant, at: 216-623-7039.

("Teen Read Week," runs from October 16th to 22nd, and is a national program, started in 1998, that encourages teens to read illustrated material, and explore their world through their imagination. Libraries, worldwide, celebrate this event with lots of special programs!)
