Cookin' Mama Wii Cook-Off

Friday, June 29, 2012, 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Virtual cooking competition on the Wii game console followed by a live "cooking" demonstration in which you show the kids how to make a simple, healthy snack.

Maria F. Estrella is the Cleveland Public Library Children’s Librarian at Memorial-Nottingham Branch. She has eleven years of public and special library experience, including technical training, conducting story times in Spanish and English, and implementing small group programs for children, teenagers, and adults. Maria’s undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University is in Bachelors of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Social Work and Spanish, and she has recently received a Master’s of Library and Information Science at Kent State University.  If you have not met her yet, make sure you attend some of the regular Children’s and Young Adult Programs at Memorial-Nottingham Branch.
