Memorial-Nottingham Branch Programs

Mr. Jimmie Woody will help students write and produce their own mini movies.

Digital Storytelling Every Tuesday during December, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Three technology workshops, conducted through the Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio, engage students through a modern version of the art of storytelling. Instructor, Jimmie Woody, will guide students as they write and produce a three to five minute “digital story” that weaves together an autobiographical story with still images, music, narrative and voice, creating a cohesive and compelling multimedia presentation. Students will experiment with new forms of technology, and learn how incorporating digital media adds impact and dimension to their stories. The Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio is an organization that provides hands-on experiential learning in the arts to students in urban, rural and suburban school districts in Northeast Ohio. There will be a small reception during the last week of December 2012 where attendees will be able view the young participants' digital masterpieces.

Space is limited! Supplies will be provided for those who make reservations.
