Who will be the next King of Klobase? You decide! Taste and vote at the 11th annual Slovenian Sausage Festival, hosted by the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame and Museum, on Wednesday, September 10, at SNPJ Farm in Kirtland, Ohio. Local sausage-makers and leading polka bands provide you with eight hours of non-stop eating and entertainment, from noon to 8:00 p.m.

Get on the dance floor with the finest Cleveland-Style polka performers, including Kathy Hlad and Ron Likovic; the Frank Moravcik Orchestra; the Summit Button Box Club; the Polka Pirates; Magic City Button Box Club; the Culkar Combo; and the Polka Hall of Fame Band of the Year, the Frank Stanger Orchestra. Sixty accordionists, musicians and bandleaders are on schedule to perform. Sample sausages from several makers and then select your winner. Prizes are presented in the People's Choice and the Best of Fest juried award. Other nationality dishes and treats are also available.

The 2014 King of Klobase is crowned at 6:00 p.m. The winning sausage-maker becomes the official sausage purveyor to the three-day Thanksgiving Polka Weekend, November 27, 28 and 29, at the Cleveland Downtown Marriott Hotel, hosted by the Polka Hall of Fame.

Located in the historic old City Hall of Euclid, Ohio, the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame houses an extensive polka music archive and a museum with audio exhibits, historic photographs and original instruments that reveal the story of the city's home-grown folk sound from its roots in the old Slovenian neighborhoods to nationwide popularity. Museum members can nominate and vote for top musicians and recordings of the year with awards presented at a gala stage show in the Marriott Grand Ballroom on November 29.
