September Events at the Memorial-Nottingham Library. Free GED Classes

GED CLASSES:  Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday, at 10:15 a.m. These GED classes are free, and are being taught at the library through a partnership with Tri-C. To register for orientation, call the Memorial-Nottingham Library at 216-623-7039.

CLASSES FOR KIDS:  Back to School Extravaganza, Saturday 9/6/2014 and 9/13/2014 at 1:00pm.  This event is for families and their kids.  Parents and their children are "invited to celebrate the joy of learning and the start of the new academic year."  There will be lots of fun for everyone.  Kids will be able to "enjoy games, crafts and giveaways."

RUSSIAN BOOK CLUB:Saturday 9/27/2014 at 3:00pm.  There will be a discussion, in the Russian language, of the book Obitel by Zakhar Prilepin.

Jeanne Coppola

Jeanne Coppola is a resident of the Collinwood neighborhood, and is interested in art and writing. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cleveland State University, where she was a writer for the multi-cultural student magazine, "The Vindicator."

Jeanne is pleased to be able to write for "The Collinwood Observer," and offer her comments and opinions for this community newspaper.
