October Book Sale at Euclid Public Library
If you drive along East 222nd Street in Euclid, you'll pass a Vietnam-era tank, with a building behind it. That building is Euclid's very fine library, at 631 E. 222.
On October 24, 2014, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. the Friends of the Library start their semiannual book sale. Those two hours are only for members, but for $5 you can join at the door.
Or you can come on Saturday, October 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., avoiding the crowds and still finding thousands of books and AV items to browse among.
The regular prices are 50¢ for hardbacks, 25¢ for paperbacks. AV material varies, but the most expensive things are the DVDs, at $2 per movie.
On Sunday, Bag Day, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., the remaining DVDs will go in the first half-hour, but there will still be an awful lot of stuff to look through and carry out in the paper bag that only costs $3.00.
