Do Something Day Beach Cleanup!

Fall is upon us and with it, change is all around whether its shorter days and colorful leaves.  But there's one thing that remains constant no matter the season.....LITTER ON OUR BEACHES!  Help the Euclid Beach Adopt-a-Beach Team DO something about it and join volunteers for our Do Something Day beach cleanup on Saturday 10/10 at Euclid Beach Park from 10am-12pm -  made possible by support from Alliance for the Great Lakes, and Radio One, home of Z 107.9!

Event Details:
All volunteers will meet in the Euclid Beach Park Picnic Pavilion (16301 Lakeshore Blvd.) between 9:30 am and 10:00 am to sign in, break up into teams and head out to the beach. Coffee, water, and light refreshments will be provided  before the cleanup and pizza, hotdogs and chips will be available after the cleanup in the picnic shelter. Gloves, rakes, buckets, and bags will be provided for beach cleanup volunteers. Please dress for the weather...whatever it may be and wear closed toed tennis shoes or boots!

Stephen Love is a Lake Erie fanatic from Cleveland, OH. In his day job he works for the Cuyahoga Land Bank and in every other waking moment is the founder and coordinator of Euclid Beach Adopt-a-Beach Team and Euclid Beach Blast! He started Euclid Beach Blast out of a desire to explore the connections between environmental stewardship, art, public spaces, music, and community.
