A Visit from Santa

Santa and his elf rest after a job well done

Santa came early to the Collinwood Neighborhood Catholic Ministries House kicking off the Holiday Season on Sunday, December 6th in grand style.  He posed for photo-ops with the guests who ranged from eight months to eighty years of age. Festive music filled the air while children, clutching their gift and photo, scurried to the basement to design a frame to hold their precious memento.

On the first floor, guests enjoyed a plentiful buffet that included holiday cookies and a delicious cake.  Remnants of frosting coated young lips.  As the guests departed, they were given a Humphry’s popcorn ball, reminders of Euclid Beach of yesteryear.

Thank you to all of those who made this party possible: The Jennifer Fund provided food, beverages and paper products, Kathy Payerchin donated popcorn balls and members of Gesu Parish decorated the house and donated gifts and cookies for the children.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
