All Aboard! The Polar Express at Collinwood Library!

In honor of the holiday season and The Polar Express 30th Anniversary, Collinwood Branch hosted a special reading of the award winning Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg.  Before the reading began, students wrote letters to Santa and made Polar Express holiday cards. 

This special evening ended with cookies and hot chocolate, followed by each student receiving a golden ticket and jingle bell as a keepsake.  We would like to thank students from Collinwood High School, in addition to Collinwood library staff and Friends of the Cleveland Public Library for assisting in making this event a great success.
