Six Shooter Coffee will be the newest edition to the swiftly growing Collinwood Arts District.  6SC is a coffee roasting company that has been operating in a wholesale capacity for two years.  At 16021 Waterloo Road, you can soon visit their brick and mortar location.  6SC’s grand opening will be on Friday, March 4th. There will be a ribbon cutting at 6:45 p.m. with live music, coffee and espresso drinks to follow.

Six Shooter Coffee’s name derived from a little bit of fun with American history.  The rumor was, President LBJ ‘s Texas ranch served coffee so strong it could float a revolver. While 6SC will provide that caffeine boost we all crave it is extremely smooth and low in acidity.  In addition to coffee, 6SC will have tea, bagels, pastries, fruit, yogurt and granola. In an effort to stay innovative the café will also provide non-alcoholic, hopped coffee and kombucha on a nitro tap. All of this will be available 7 days a week. They will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Owner/Operator Peter Brown lives in Collinwood and cares deeply about the neighborhood. He wants to make sure that his business helps the area.  Brown states, “We want to make sure this endeavor is more than just coffee.  Not only do we ethically source our beans, but we also have only hired people from the Collinwood/Euclid area and we are teaming up with an organization called LEAP to provide jobs for people with disabilities.”  Six Shooter Coffee aims to be a big part of the community.
