Post Card Happiness

Thank you Note from The University Hospital Case Medical Center Department of Volunteer Services.

Cleveland’s DM4G students recently completed a Quick Kindness project called “postcard happiness”.  This activity allowed us to send postcards to children who are currently hospitalized at University Hospital Case Medical Center. These children could benefit from a little postal kindness. The wonderful cards were created to uplift their spirits while in the hospital.

DM4G students from both East Tech High School and Collinwood High School did a wonderful job drawing encouraging pictures and short poems to show their support. Some students completed more than one postcard, because they could relate to having a loved one in the hospital. DM4G students were overjoyed to be able to put a smile on someone else’s face.

The University Hospital Case Medical Center Department of Volunteer Services was so pleased to receive the postcards, and the hospital’s gratitude expressed in the card below is truly appreciated by all of us.
