Siggy's VIllage Garden and Market Opening Soon

Siggy’s Village will soon be opening the Siggy’s Village Market, located on Saranac, and Community Garden, located on East 154th, to the public! We are very excited to share our progress with the Collinwood community. Our Market will feature Siggy’s Foodbank, local farmers, and chefs and bakers in the community. The market will open on June 1st and will feature buying options such as EBT, credit card, and debit card. For safety reasons, we will not carry cash on site.

Our garden will feature lavender and mint among other produce vegetables in the coming months, creating a beautiful place to relax and plant. The community garden will feature free produce grown by you!

We also welcome participation in our Healthy Parenting Project, which will begin in June. The Healthy Parenting Project is one of three programs being developed and administered under the Families' Early Years Program by CAMHP Foundation. The Healthy Parenting Project provides 6 weeks of 2 hour Saturday classes to address the needs of children and families. These needs range from pregnancy information/guidance to kindergarten instruction. The mission of this project is to provide educational training that supports a physically active lifestyle, encourages self awareness and emotional strength to engage in new and different community activities.

Siggy’s Village will be a place where families and community members can gather safely in order to participate in activities. In acknowledgement of this, we ask that people not smoke while on the property. Our goal is to keep Siggy’s Village a safe place where everyone can gather and without fearing the effects of second-hand smoke or fires. Please help us keep that goal a reality!

If you are interested in participating in our Siggy’s Village Market co-op, or volunteering in our community garden, please feel free to contact us!
