Please Join Us for the "This Is Euclid" Art Walk

Summer at Sims

On Friday, September 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., there will be an art walk in Downtown Euclid on Lakeshore Blvd. to feature the many photographs that were submitted for This Is Euclid, the city sponsored photography contest. Hundreds of photographs have been received, and you can view them all in the slide shows at www.cityofeuclid.com, under the Announcements tab.

The photography contest is part of an initiative to advertise vacant storefronts in Downtown Euclid, and show off the great things that people enjoy about the city. Submissions consist of scenery, people, wild life, food, landscapes, and much more. The best photographs will be made into larger window clings and exhibited in the vacant storefronts, spanning from E. 218th St. to E. 228th St. on Lakeshore Blvd. The other submissions will be on display at neighboring restaurants and businesses, so all of the submissions can be seen during the art walk, not just the photographs chosen to be placed in vacant storefronts as window clings.

Participating restaurants are including food and drink specials just for the night, so bring your friends and family to help celebrate all that Euclid has to offer, and be sure not to miss your own contest submissions!

The City thanks Shore Cultural Centre and Euclid Art Association for their added support, as well as everyone who submitted a photograph to make the contest and art walk possible.
