The Waterloo Alley Cat Project is an all volunteer nonprofit group comprised of both residents and business owners who came together after sharing a concern over the large number homeless/stray cats struggling to survive around the Waterloo business district. The group has been practicing the humane method of trap-neuter-return (TNR) for seven years and, since its inception in 2009, the group is proud to report that after spaying/neutering over 300 cats, the cat population has decreased drastically. Their dedication and hard work has helped to forge a positive image for the neighborhood.
