Community Garden at 154th Street

Do you like fresh fruits and vegetables? Do you like to garden? Here’s how it works. The garden is located at 794 E 154th St.

You, your family, friends or neighbors choose a raised bed, or part of a bed, and plan the vegetables you want to plant.

Decide whether you want to grow seedlings during the winter months and transplant them into the beds in the Spring or whether you want to plant seeds directly into the beds come spring.  There are pros and cons to each method. We can help you choose.

Plant them.

Nurture them, i.e. weed and water.

Harvest them for yourself and neighbors.

Bring your own tools.
