St. Jerome Elementary School Stations of the Cross

At St. Jerome Elementary School students from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades performed a recreation of the Stations of the Cross.  It is extremely important that during the Easter Holiday, our students and the community of St. Jerome remember the representation of love and sacrifice that Jesus offered to all of us when he was crucified.  The crucifixion is when Jesus was nailed to the cross and died for the forgiveness of sins.   The Stations of the Cross reiterated the suffering that Jesus endured without any objection or repentance.  The resurrection, that ensued three days following the crucifixion, is an astonishing miracle, and the ultimate representation why Easter is celebrated.  The Resurrection is when Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.  The student body at St. Jerome were able to appreciate and embrace the significance of the resurrection and the true meaning of Easter.
