Magic Winds

Frank Rosenwein, principal oboist for the Cleveland Orchestra will perform with City Music Cleveland at St. Jerome Church on December 12th t 7:30pm.

We are delighted to host another fabulous concert on Wednesday, December 12th featuring Frank Rosenwein, principal oboist for the Cleveland Orchestra, who will perform Richard Strauss’ Oboe Concerto in D Major, a lyrical work that sprung from the hopeful time just after WWII.  Stefan Willich returns to conduct. 

Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri Overture and Mozart’s Symphony No. 39 in E Major frame the program.  Doors open at 7pm with the concert beginning at 7:30pm.  There is no admission, a free will offering will be taken up.  This and all City Music Cleveland concerts are family friendly.
