Aaron Saltzman = 5 (Generation +Commitment)

The other day I was grocery shopping and a question came to mind: how long have I been a customer of Dave's? I recalled how my stepfather, Thomas (T.S.) Hamilton, would mainly shop here and one other market. Burt Saltzman, the founder of Dave's, was always hands-on: he worked alongside the baggers and the cashiers at the old Dave's (formerly on Payne and E. 33rd Street). He talked to the customers.
Aaron Saltzman, a fifth generation owner of Dave's, talked with me about the "fresh experience" of entering a Dave's Market: each location striving to please their customers is what it's all about.
Cleanliness: because we understand how important it is.
The "Fresh Experience": produce needs to be at its freshest. Fresh food. This is the mindset across the whole store, in all our stores. We take pride in what we do.
Our roots are in the city of Cleveland: our stores value the communities we are in and we aim to achieve a level that best reflects and services each neighborhood.
We understand that our stores are a part of the community: we have a model of hiring our valued associates from within the community we service. (Some of the associates are featured in their photo ads displayed in some of their stores.)
We are a family-owned business: five generations of commitment to Cleveland. We now have generations of families shopping with us. So, we thank you Cleveland shoppers for your commitment to us!
