4 VASJ students commissioned as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

VASJ students Rhiannan Edwards ’20, Annalise Gibbons ’21, Sophie Sito ’20 and Faith Thompson ’21 are now commissioned as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. 

The VASJ community observed All Saints’ Day with an all-school Mass the morning of Nov. 1. Fr. Patrick Schultz from Communion of Saints Parish presided at the Mass. 

The gymnasium was lined with paper lanterns inscribed with prayer intentions and the names of loved ones who have passed away. During the Mass, four students were commissioned as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: 

• Rhiannan Edwards ’20 

• Annalise Gibbons ’21 

• Sophie Sito ’20 

• Faith Thompson ’21

The Viking Village now has a total of 14 extraordinary ministers: four students and 10 faculty/staff members.
