Important Facts about St. Jerome School
St. Jerome Catholic School provides a quality education to students of all faiths through the development of spirit,
mind, and body. We value the diversity of our students and provide a firm spiritual, academic, and social foundation
upon which they can build their future.
SJS offers a quality education for students in Pre-School through Grade 8.
Over 95% of our graduates go on to Catholic/Private High Schools.
Daily student attendance rate of over 97%.
98% of our students are part of the Cleveland Scholarship and tutoring program (Voucher) or the EdChoice Program.
SJS has an extremely dedicated Parent-Teacher Unit (PTU).
SJS is fully accredited and chartered by the State of Ohio.
All teachers are certified by the State of Ohio and religion teachers are certified by the Diocese of Cleveland.
SJS has a complete, updated computer lab and students receive an hour of technology instruction per week.
Students receive instruction from our Music Teacher twice each week.
Physical Education is important at SJS. Students participate in Physical Education class twice weekly.
After-School Care is available on site until 6pm for a nominal, hourly rate.
The enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year in grades Pre-school through 8th grade is 234 students.
All employees and volunteers who have contact with students undergo thorough screening, including background checks through the Ohio Bureau of Investigation & Identification (BCI&I.)
