Gcdc Partners With State Rep, City Council For Eastside Jobs Expo

Greater Collinwood Development Corporation has partnered with State Representative Terrance Upchurch, Congresswoman Marcia Fudge, Cleveland City Councilmembers and Famicos Foundation for the Eastside Jobs Fair & Resource Expo, Saturday March 14th. The expo will be held at Aspinwall Outreach Center in Collinwood , 9:00am-1:00pm. Employers across the region will be recruiting for immediate employment opportunities, and job seekers will be able to obtain information about training and job readiness events. 

US Census Bureau will also be in attendance to recruit for the Enumerator position.

US Census Bureau is hiring Enumerators in the Cleveland area for the 2020 Census. The position offers flexible hours, weekly pay and paid training. Responsibilities include: interviewing household residents and updating address lists. Availability in the evenings and on the weekends is a must. Applicants should be at least 18 years of age, have a valid social security number, is a U.S. citizen, have a valid email address, have access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license, and have access to a computer with Internet (to complete training). If offered the position, candidates must pass a criminal background check and review of criminal records (including fingerprinting). Pay range for this position is $20.50/hr - $22.50/hr.
