WALK UP SERVICE NOW AVAILABLE
AT THE COLLINWOOD BRANCH

Cleveland Public Library is now providing walk-up service at all 27 neighborhood branches including the Collinwood Branch. Patrons can call (216) 623-6934 to reserve for printing, copying and fax services and to reserve items at the Collinwood Branch.

In addition, drive-up and walk-up services are available at the following branches:

Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch

Memorial-Nottingham Branch

Rice Branch

Headed downtown? Patrons can utilize the Main Library drive-up window or access walk-up service at the Louis Stokes Wing.

All Library visitors are encouraged to reserve items online at cpl.org or by phone. Patrons will need their library cards to reserve and pick up materials.

“Cleveland Public Library is reopening in phases to protect our staff and patrons. From new cleaning procedures to social distancing guidelines and personal protective equipment for employees, we are taking every precaution,” said Felton Thomas, Jr., Executive Director and CEO of Cleveland Public Library. “We will continue to evaluate operations and expand services to the public.”

While patrons still can’t enter Library buildings, Cleveland Public Library will be offering walk-up service, reference services by phone, and reference services via ASK CPL, the online chat feature of cpl.org. Patrons can return borrowed materials to the book drops. Library hours have changed until further notice.

Get Loud, Speak Out!

Join your friends and Cleveland Public Library to make a difference in your community by reading and participating in weekly programs. Earn a chance to win some great prizes along the way! Registration is open! Program runs June 1–July 25, 2020.

  • MAKE A CHANGE MONDAYS

Get ready to make a change by creating weekly democracy-inspired crafts! This program is in partnership with Center for Arts-Inspired Learning.

  • TELL-A-TALE TUESDAYS

Virtual Storytime to the rescue! Join our weekly special gusts for Tell-a-Tale Tuesdays.

  • READ TO THE BEAT WEDNESDAYS

Calling all little readers: Explore books and storytelling through music and singing! This program is in partnership with the Music Settlement.

  • TOWN HALL THURSDAYS

Speak Out, Get Loud! Unite with library friends for moderated discussions, live music, puppet shows, and author visits throughout the summer!

  • FREE FOR ALL FRIDAYS

Read at least 20 minutes of your favorite books. All Summer Lit League participants will be entered to win a weekly raffle for a cool prize!

Kindergarten Club

This is a free program to prepare your child for kindergarten and build support for their first year of school. Through fun activities like reading, writing, talking, singing, and playing together, families will gain valuable skills to help their child succeed in school through kindergarten and beyond.

Free Online Tutoring (K-12)

Available in all subjects for students entering grades K-12.

OfferedMonday through Thursday

Sessions are scheduled between 10am – 1pm & 2pm – 5pm
