Starting the Cancer Journey: 3-Session Series

For those who are newly diagnosed (within the last 6 months) and their family members. Sessions include strategies to support treatment side effects, communication with family, friends, and health care team, nutrition tips, and an interactive cooking opportunity.
Sessions held April 20th, April 27th, & May4th. Attendance at all 3 sessions is encouraged.

Grief and Healing Support Group

Are you grieving the loss of a family member, a friend, or a loved one? Holy Family Hospice invites you to join our Grief & Healing support group. This is an eight-week bereavement support group where members will meet others who have suffered loss, explore their individual grief process, and gain knowledge and insight of useful grief coping skills to help them begin to heal. Held on Wednesdays from April 20 until June 8.

Active Yoga ~'~ Loving Hands Yoga

Active Yoga – This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students’ desires and abilities.
Class Fees
*** New Clients (includes one free class): $150 for Spring
*** Returning Clients: $165 for Spring
*** All Clients: 10% discount for 2 classes per week

Gentle Yoga – This class provides all the benefits of yoga, but at a more relaxed pace. It is perfect for beginners, or experienced yogis who prefer a slower practice. We work on our strength, breathing, balance, and flexibility through gentle, fluid poses and stretching. Meditation exercises at the beginning and end of the class help to release stress and worry. We also discuss methods for bringing peace and relaxation into our daily lives. This class provides a peaceful and relaxing way to end the evening!
