Opening Reception for Threads of Time | Eugenia Vainberg
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Join us at the Gallery at Praxis Fiber Workshop for the opening reception of Threads of Time, a show of embroideries by Eugenia Vainberg. Vainberg, who has been embroidering for over 8 decades, activates thread as pencil, pen, and paintbrush to render intimate moments from history and her personal life. Each work embodies storytelling at its finest - poetic, contemplative, inviting.
The opening will be held in person and virtually on Zoom. For in-person viewers, arrive between 6 and 7:30PM for a 10-minute viewing interval. One household at a time; masks required. The artist will be available outside in a distanced setting for limited greetings.
