Unlocking the vault

The top floor of the old Key Bank building on Waterloo is the location of the new KaleidoArts Productions “creative business incubator.”

Have you noticed any new activity happening in the old Key Bank on Waterloo? KaleidoArts Productions Inc. has begun to establish residency as a “creative business incubator” in the top floor of the building, in conjunction with Northeast Shores Community Development Corporation.

KaleidoArts Productions is a nonprofit collective of young local independent artists. Its mission is to enrich the community by providing support and resources to young independent artists through the collection, presentation, and production of local fine art. Saturday, March 3rd is an open house to give you a chance to come down and see their vision for the future of this space, and to see if you want to be a part of it. There will be live music, DJs, independent film, and a silent art auction from 5pm-10pm. For more information contact Karah Vance, founder and executive director of KaleidoArts Productions. karahvance@yahoo.com.

Matt Donovan is the Chief of Operations at KaleidoArts Productions. They will be renting art studios and giving free music lessons at 15619 Waterloo Rd.
