Brunch is Not Just for Sunday's Anymore

Saturday brunch at the Beachland rocks. The Beachland ballroom, located at 15711 Waterloo is open for brunch on Saturdays from 11 to 3 and Sundays from 10 to 3. We stopped in on a recent Saturday and had a most excellent and memorable meal. My wife had the always delicious North Coast turkey sandwich which is Slovenian style locally produced bacon, smoked turkey, poached free range eggs and Gruyere cheese on a multigrain toast with tomato and avocado. Yes, it is messy. Yes it is delicious.

I tried something new and went with the chicken and pinto bean Chilaquiiles. (I am not quite sure how to say that word.) As you can see from the picture the chicken and pinto beans were simmered in a spicy roasted tomato salsa, tossed on a bed of corn tortillas and topped with two over easy free range eggs. There is a vegetarian option for this dish and there are many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options on the menu.

The food quality and the service is top-notch. The Bloody Mary's and the coffee are strong. The Beachland will take reservations for any size party. Give them a call at  216-383-1124. Prepare yourself for a marvelous brunch.
