Spring is in full effect and that means it's time for many to consider improvement to their homes. As past of your home maintenance plans this year, Collinwood & Nottingham Villages Development Corporation encourages you to review your home and make sure it's not only beautiful but is also up to code. The city routinely has inspectors in our area, so proactive maintenance is always best, and CNVDC is here to help. Our code enforcement staff works closely with many City of Cleveland departments including: Building & Housing, Health, and the Housing Court. Together we focus on improving both the appearance and the longevity of the commercial, industrial, residential properties in the neighborhood. Through street by street property surveying, code enforcer’s goals are to maintain neighborhood cleanliness and decrease blight and abandonment. We can also help you understand building codes and what they mean for you and your home, and can connect you to resources that you may qualify for. Collinwood & Nottingham Villages Development Corporation
The Collinwood & Nottingham Villages Development Corporation is a non-profit organization created to preserve, promote, and protect the quality of life in our communities. We serve as an economic pump and liaison between businesses, industry, and residents. We work closely with our councilmen, political leaders, and city departments including the Departments of Safety, Health, Community and Economic Development,and Building & Housing. The corporation is operated by a board of trustees representing area residents, churches, business, and industry. Our office is located in Collinwood Village, staffed by 2 full-time and 3 part-time individuals. The corporation is funded through the City of Cleveland, as well as private donations, and other grants.
