“THANK YOU” was the theme of the Collinwood Branch’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Program to reflect on the work of service that our First Responders and Safety Forces for children attending the branch. Please see below for a sample of the notes written by them.

Kid’s Café Meal Program
In collaboration with the Cleveland Food Bank, Kids Café is being served!

Living African American History Museum
Discover African American history through storytelling and visual display. Participants will engage in a visual museum like activity to lean about African Americans today and in the past that are making and have made significant contributions to or community and the world.

Make Your Masterpiece: Digital Darkroom
Learn to use digital darkroom techniques to manipulate color, contrast and size of your photos.

Adult Programs
Cleveland 20/20 Exhibition: Cleveland 20/20: A Photographic Exploration of Cleveland, an exhibition partnership project of the Cleveland Public Library and the Cleveland Print Room, explores our diverse city--full of life, culture and history. The exhibition containing nearly 200 photographs is now open in Brett Hall, on the first floor of Main Library in downtown Cleveland.
One Community Reads: Everyone in Cuyahoga County is encouraged to read Palaces for the People: How Social Infrastructure Can Help Fight Inequality, Polarization, and the Decline of Civic Life by Eric Klinenberg. Participating Libraries, Playhouse Square and The City Club of Cleveland will hold events to cultivate dialogue about social issues affecting our communities. Author Eric Klinenberg will visit Cleveland on Monday, March 9 for a book discussion at the Playhouse Square Mimi Ohio Theatre at 7:00 p.m. Call (216) 241-6000 or visit onecommunityreads.org for registration and information.
