Free Paint comes to Greater Collinwood

Are you already planning for the spring? Making a list of your spring outdoor projects? If one of those includes painting your house or touching up your trim we may be able to help you.  The City of Cleveland is working with Greater Collinwood Development Corporation on the 2020 Exterior Paint Program.  Qualifying applicant can receive up to $1500 in free pain and supplies. Income limits are higher than other programs which will allow more people to apply.

To qualify you must live in the City of Cleveland, reside in the house being painted (tenants may apply with signature of owner), you must attend a free lead work practice class and you must meet income guidelines.  Application deadline is February 28, 2020. Properties must be completed between April 1, 2020 and October 31, 2020. The voucher can’t be used to pay anyone to help paint.  GCDC is currently seeing church groups and others that are interested in assisting senior or disabled residents in helping to paint their homes.

To get more information, to file an application or to get your group involved in painting call AJ at Greater Collinwood Development 216.383.9772 x205 to set up an appointment or come to open application hours Mondays or Thursday 1 pm-4 pm at the Five Pointe Community Center located at 813 E 152nd St.
